Laavu is a growing company providing psychological coaching for entrepreneurs and business leaders. Our mission is to create a new norm in which taking care of your mind would be just as normal as taking care of your body is. Our vision is to become an indispensable companion to every growth-minded company in Europe.
What we have to offer?
- A key leadership role in a mission-driven, fast-growing company committed to psychological performance and sustainability.
- The chance to impact the future of Laavu’s growth and development.
- A warm, collaborative, and ambitious team with a low-hierarchy culture.
- Opportunity to both do high-impact client work and lead a motivated, high-performing team
- Modern workspace in Helsinki city center with a strong sense of community.
- Salary 5000-5400€ month
- Lunch/sports/well-being benefit of 100 € / month.
- Opportunity and support to grow within one of the most ambitious companies in the psychology field.
Main Responsibilities
As a Lead Performance Psychologist, you’ll be right at the heart of the action: coaching your own clients while leading a team of 6–10 performance psychologists. You’ll keep the team inspired through regular 1:1s, setting clear, energising goals, and creating a high-trust, growth-driven environment where people genuinely thrive. And because great leaders stay close to the craft, you’ll also coach around 16 bi-weekly clients (about 8 hours a week), keeping your skills sharp and your impact immediate.
With full P&L responsibility, you won’t just talk about growth, you’ll be hands-on in making it happen. Through multi-channel outreach, outbound sales, and booking introduction sessions, you’ll build your own client base while ensuring your team hits their client and invoicing targets.
This role is ideal for an experienced organisational psychologist with strong coaching skills, a people-first leadership style, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to grow the business.
- Deliver coaching to 16 individual bi-weekly clients approximately 8h/week
- Have regular 1:1s with the team, wellbeing check-ins, ensuring team well-being and engagement
- Set invoicing/sales goals, and ensure the team meets client targets and maintain profitability.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new psychologists, growing the team over time to meet demand.
- Communicate company direction, goals and culture to the team; maintain two-way communication, creating a psychologically safe, high-trust environment aligned with Laavu’s values.
- Be strongly hands-on in sales and building your own client base by multi-channel sales, and supporting the team to meet their client targets.
What would make you a perfect fit?
- Master’s in Psychology and +6 years of experience in work & organisational psychology
- Coaching experience and strong coaching skills
- Leadership experience and approach aligned with Laavu’s values:
You are ambitious and hungry. You push both yourself and your team toward their best, set clear goals, and celebrate milestones.
You naturally create connection and collaboration. For you, the team’s success beats any solo victory.
You lead with authenticity. Your empathy builds trust and fosters an environment where people feel safe to show up as their true selves.
You take the work seriously, but not yourself. Even when things get challenging, you appreciate moments of humour that help everyone breathe.
You act consistently, follow through on commitments, treat all people with respect and equality. - Sales / business development experience: thriving in multi-channel outreach. Resilience in approaching potential clients.
- Interest in growth company environment, and ability to navigate in a fast-growing, dynamic culture.
- Excellent communicator in English and Finnish.
- High level of self-reflection, comfortable with feedback, committed to personal growth and development.
