Psychotherapy is a form of treatment developed to ease or eliminate mental suffering. Psychotherapy aims to help people who have issues with their mental health. Psychological coaching, in turn, is a self-development service where the focus is on the psychological performance and the prevention of mental health problems. The objective of psychological coaching is to help people with good or moderate mental health in solving their everyday problems and achieving their goals.
Psychological coaching can be very similar to business coaching. In both, the goal is to help the coachee to find new perspectives and achieve their goals by asking insightful questions. The clearest difference, however, is that all of Laavu’s coaches are work- and organization-oriented, legalized psychologists. Thus, they have the ability and education to dig a bit deeper into the root causes of your challenges and help you also with more personal problems.
